  • How do I refill my prescriptions?
    You can refill your prescription at Norland Avenue Pharmacy several ways: Refill online by clicking here (or click "Refill" in the menu). Download our mobile app and refill anytime from anywhere.     We are proud to accept most major health insurance providers and offer competitive pricing. All you have to do is get your prescriptions sent our pharmacy, and our experienced team handles the rest! For those on Medicare, we can also help you review your options so you can find the right plan for your health needs.
  • Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Information

  • What are the rates of cases and death by COVID-19 based on vaccination status?
    The CDC provides an interactive tool that shows the overall rates, as well as rates by age group, and rates based on the type of COVID-19 vaccine received. Click the link below to see: CDC COVID Data Tracker
  • When can I get a booster? Can I get a second booster?
    The CDC has shortened the interval from 6 months to 5 months for people who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. This means that people can now receive an mRNA booster shot 5 months after completing their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series. The booster interval recommendation for people who received the J&J vaccine (2 months) or the Moderna vaccine (6 months), has not changed. All adolescents age 12-17 years SHOULD receive a COVID-19 booster 5 months after completing their primary series of Pfizer vaccine. ​ Eligible patients who received 2 primary series doses of the Pfizer vaccine can now receive a second booster of Pfizer at least 4 months after their first booster dose. Patients are eligible if they are 50 years or older. ​ Eligible patients who received 3 primary series doses of the Pfizer vaccine can now receive a second booster of Pfizer at least 4 months after their first booster dose. Pfizer patients are eligible if they are 12 years or older and immunocompromised.
  • Which vaccines are Norland Avenue Pharmacy carrying?
    Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations are available at Norland Avenue Pharmacy on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm and Saturday from 8:30am-12:30pm. Pfizer is available to anyone 12 and older.
  • Who is eligible for third and fourth doses?
    A third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for Pfizer recipients who are moderately to severely immunocompromised and received their second dose at least 28 days prior. Children age 5-11 years who are moderately to severely immunocompromised should receive an additional primary dose vaccine 28 days after their second shot. At this time, only the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is authorized and recommended for children aged 5-11. Fourth Doses: Pfizer recipients who are moderately to severely immunocompromised are eligible for a fourth dose six months after receiving their third dose. ​ People are considered to be moderately or severely immunocompromised if they have: Been receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood Received an organ transplant and are taking medicine to suppress the immune system Received a stem cell transplant within the last 2 years or are taking medicine to suppress the immune system Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (such as DiGeorge syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome) Advanced or untreated HIV infection Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress your immune response ​ People should talk to their healthcare provider about their medical condition, and whether getting an additional primary shot is appropriate for them.
